We are also doing a charity project for servicemen in Afghanistan. One of our customers has a relative there and they need hats for helmet liners because it is so cold.

The finished hat is due by Dec 10. Made from one ball of dark Encore

Call the store and buy a ball of encore in the appropriate color and we will send you the pattern.

Our goal is 100 by Dec 10

 On a personal note: 

 

I have always loved the fact that we have many tables in our store. The thought of "just" having merchandise showing, somehow doesn't cut it for me. Many hours of fellowship have passed and many friendships have been formed, sitting and knitting and crocheting and now even spinning around our tables.
I miss that and I miss you! Times have changed a lot but the need for fellowship and encouragement has not. I pray that you have been blessed as you entered our store and that you can continue to use the talents you learned to enrich your lives and those of others.

We give thanks for you and all the years we had together.

The elections are over and now we live with the consequences. But it's not a time to forget, but to continue our involvement and our vigilance. There are strong opinions on either side. Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone could pick the best of them and get people to sit together and figure things out?
