Shirley is going to be a Grandma! Her daughter wanted a super soft shawl for nursing and she chose TOUCH ME from Muench. I told Shirley that Touch Me needed to be washed in hot water to get rid of any "worms". Shirley not only followed these scary instructions, but cranked up the water heater before she did.

Outstanding job! Thanks for sharing!

More Free Patterns

Recently I have decided to share with you some of my patterns for free in appreciation of your patronage and to help you use up your stash yarns and to inspire you to buy new yarns. So rather than sending them to you each week, which proved to be quite the task,
I will link to them here.

Please call the store toll-free at 1 888 770 7809 for any of your yarn needs or e-mail me with any questions. Enjoy!

Please note: The patterns are mine and you have permission to use them for yourself and even pass them on, but not for you to use commercially. Thanks so much!

A while back we had much excitement at the store with lights, camera, ACTION!

You remember the pictures and those of you who were at the store that day were talked into participating! (Thanks)

Well, I finally figured out how to put it up on YouTube.
Barry from Trendsetter Yarns was the author, creator and sponsor of the original and we are showing it with his permission, allowing us to give you a tiny glimpse of our store.
Thanks, Barry!!

Store Samples

As you probably know, we try to have lots and lots of samples throughout the store. Perhaps you wonder what happens to those samples after we no longer carry the yarn. Well I gave many of them to our daughter and she placed them on Etsy to sell.
If you are interested, please check them out!

On a personal note:

I have never had to give up a child for adoption. Who can fathom how difficult that must be. My mother did send me to a foreign country (I was born and raised in Germany) when I was only 17 years old. I did NOT want to go but she thought it would be best for me. Even at the airport in Zürich, I let her know in no uncertain terms that I did not want to go. I went, started a new life, got married and soon my mother and siblings came as well. I didn't really appreciate how difficult it was for my mother to let me go until I was a mother myself.

As you know, we have been looking for new adoptive parents for our store. There is some interviewing going on but as you can imagine, it will take someone who can take on the huge responsibility of leading "our baby" to new heights as they expertly serve your needs. We ask for your continued prayers and trust that God has just the right "parents" for the job.

Romans 8:23
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:22-24 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Ephesians 1:4-6
4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he[a] predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
