Have you gone green yet? My brothers are very much into recycling and doing what they can to leave a small imprint on this planet. This can get very frustrating for them because most of us are just not there (yet) and when they watch us drive our big gas guzzlers... well you can imagine. So we're hearing a lot of bad news on this subject and on any other subject for that matter. So now some of us have been thinking that we need to collect GOOD news! What are people doing out there that is GOOD? Share with us, if you would, what you have done or observed in any way that is good! My older brother lives in Nova Scotia and they just dealt with hurricane Noel. Here is what he wrote to us afterwards: Well, this should not sound like bragging. Since we still have power outages - the last two days saw us without power from about 2am to mid-morning - Gail and I thought of the people who do not have a wood stove to keep warm and prepare hot meals. We asked around and came up with 15 names. We then used our wood stove to heat up a huge pot of (previously frozen) turkey soup and at lunch time, we delivered it with toasted buns to these people. It was much appreciated. The next time power goes out, we'll know what to do and not wait until 4 days into the inconvenience. What's your story? Philippians
