365 Knitting Stitches A Year
| A small format book
with an interesting concept; learn a new knitting stitch each day of the year.
I am constantly amazed at the number of different designs that can be created
out of simple knit and purl! Despite an extensive library of knitting patterns,
I found some here that are new and most interesting. Not a project book, this
primer teaches many creative stitches and lists the pattern count, such as: multiple
of 6 +3 so that you can take a sweater pattern and either use the design throughout,
or on a section of the front, back and sleeves. In this way you learn to devise
your own one-of-a-kind projects. Price: $19.95 |

| On a personal note: |
Last Sunday, Dr.
Harold Sala spoke at our church. He spoke on What Dr. Sala talked about reminded me of our trip to Germany last Fall. We had rented a car and got a navigation system as an upgrade. Now I had never used one of these but I absolutely fell in love with it. I was in Frankfurt by myself and had to find my way "home" to the very south of Germany. So I knew I had to go south but I didn't even know my way out of Frankfurt!! Was I ever glad to have that navigation system. Driving out of Frankfurt and later while driving in Switzerland, I noticed that when I didn't obey the commands given to me and missed my turn or my offramp, the first thing it would say was: "Turn around, dummy!!!!!!!" No, of course it didn't put it quite that way, but I got the message. I didn't always follow the advice though, so I noticed that the system then configured a NEW route for me. How awesome is that!!? God is that way, I think. He has the "perfect route for our lives, but if we take a detour, He configures a new route. As Dr. Sala said: "God's Will is new each day!" Just think of it! 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand
what the Lord's will is.
