Here is a chance to purchase yarns from all sorts of supplies at 75% off the marked price.

Once the day is over, the yarns go into our storage unit until the next event.
Please remember that all sales are final.

What? When? Where? Why?

By the way.......

Hopefully you got the BIG message: Our Famous Bag Sale is THIS Saturday. We had to change the date
this year from our normal date, so I hope that didn't confuse you too much! I've been busy for weeks it
seems at our storage unit, bagging lots and lots of yarns! I just couldn't part with some of it and it just
begged me to go home with me. So now there is even MORE yarn at my house!

Please tell 100 of your best friends and neighbors just in case they are confused about the date. One
more time everything in the bagsale will be 75% off the marked price. We went and bought some more
blue bags from Ikea to make shopping easier for you.

See you there!

We just found out that Saturday is also National Knitting Day!

When you come for the bagsale plan on hanging out a while with your knitting.
How fun would it be if you brought your chair and sat on the front lawn with
your knitting!

Colleen Davis Workshops

Colleen Davis was just here recently for her wonderful workshop. If you weren't here, you missed a great class! Please watch
our events section for all the news about our events. We already know that Karen Skacel will be here, as well as Stacy Charles,

people and to be able to learn from them.

Spring Cleaning Update

If you remember we just completed a week of Spring Cleaning where we invited you to bring in your leftover yarn and sell
it back to us. Well we received about 500 to 600 pounds of yarn. Thank you so much for your participation! As promised,
we donated this yarn to Stitches From The Heart who will now put it to good use via their volunteers to make all kinds of
things for needy babies. Way to go!!

With Sympathy

Please join me in extending our Sincere Sympathy to our Judy for the recent loss of her father. This came just a
bit over a year after loosing her mother. As you can imagine, these are difficult times for Judy but she is eager to
come back to work to feel the warmth of all of her friends, students and customers.

Just Returned from Market

Cherie and Niqua just returned from Columbus, Ohio where they went to attend our Trade Show to buy lots
of new yarns for Fall. They had a great time, took some classes to learn more about everything YARN
and bought lots of new yarn. Come in and talk to them about it and look for many new arrivals.

HALL OF FAME

This time our Hall Of Famer is not a customer -- Can you guess who she is?

She is hiding behind her newest work in progress, a swim suit cover!

Email us and let us know who you think this is at yarn@yarnlady.com

Elaine Update

Perhaps you have heard that our dear friend, Elaine has suffered a stroke.
For continued updates about her condition, please click here.

Many of you know Elaine as the one who would climb into our "playpen" during our bag sales. She has gone with us to almost every Stitches event and made many friends across the country. Please keep Elaine in your prayers.

So as you can see, this letter got way too long again. We do some more "talking" in our
We encourage you to check in on our blog and "talk" back to us. We'll try to keep you updated there about
more things that are happening around the store.

With summer and our bag sale coming up, I thought it would be a good time to remind you how many books and patterns we have.
Below you will find just a very small selection of books we carry. I copied the descriptions from our supplier's website in the hopes
that it might help you choose. Please call Jenny at 949 770 7809 or 888 770 7809 for more information. We also have many, many
pattern leaflets which we have newly organized by style rather than designer. We hope that this will make it easier for you when
you come in to look for a cardigan pattern, for instance.

I also happened to look through back issues of Vogue and Knitters magazines and I thought I would remind you that each one
of these magazines contains a wealth of information! Even if you don't like everything about a particular design, there is always
something to be learned from it and it could well be adapted to your needs!

Come in before the bagsale and browse through the patterns! This will give you more of an idea of what you will be doing with the
yarns you will surely fall in love with. -p-il-@-ox.net

pssssst: Cherie and I were talking today and we are planning a special design workshop that I will teach. We will ask you to bring
your bag sale yarns in after saturday and together (you and I) will swatch them and decide what to do with them.
Stay tuned for dates and more information!

Happy Knitting! Gaby

On a personal note:

Last Sunday, Dr. Harold Sala spoke at our church. He spoke on
"The Decisions of Life and the Will of God"

What Dr. Sala talked about reminded me of our trip to Germany last Fall. We had rented a car and got a navigation system as an upgrade. Now I had never used one of these but I absolutely fell in love with it. I was in Frankfurt by myself and had to find my way "home" to the very south of Germany. So I knew I had to go south but I didn't even know my way out of Frankfurt!! Was I ever glad to have that navigation system. Driving out of Frankfurt and later while driving in Switzerland, I noticed that when I didn't obey the commands given to me and missed my turn or my offramp, the first thing it would say was: "Turn around, dummy!!!!!!!" No, of course it didn't put it quite that way, but I got the message. I didn't always follow the advice though, so I noticed that the system then configured a NEW route for me. How awesome is that!!?

God is that way, I think. He has the "perfect route for our lives, but if we take a detour, He configures a new route. As Dr. Sala said: "God's Will is new each day!"

Just think of it!

17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
Ephesians 5:17
