On a personal note:

Each time we write a newsletter, I have the privilege of sharing a few personal words with you. The question is: what can I say? What should I say?

I'm attending a Bible Study at our church right now led by the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle. The subject is prayer. It is accompanied by a video where among other things you see many people joining forces to storm the throne of God and bringing their petitions- large and small to the Creator of the Universe.
Someone in our group shared that the Governor of Alabama issued a proclamation asking that people humble themselves and pray and seek God's face and ask for rain for that drought stricken state. How awesome is that!

What is it that we can be asking Him for?

7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
