Last month we asked you: Can You Feel It?
Christmas is just around the corner.....have you finished making all your gifts yet?

We trust that by now you are getting closer to having all of your gifts completed. If you need some concentrated time to finish your projects, remember that you can come in on Friday evening and work together with others who are in the same shape. But at this late date, you are on your own and Louise and Jerry will not be able to accept any more finishing that "has" to be ready!

On a VERY personal note:

Blessing God by Donald Grey Barnhouse

He came up to me at the end of a sermon and shook my hand, "I can understand `God bless me,' but how can I `Bless God?' What does it mean when we sing, `Bless the Lord, O my soul?'" I said, "Do you have any children?" "Yes," he replied, "I have a boy who is six and a girl who is five." I asked, "At Christmas time do they ever give you a present?" "Sure," he replied." Where do they get the money," I asked. "Well, I give it to them," he chuckled. "That's exactly it," I said, "You pay for the Christmas presents your children give you. You're so glad when they are talking about it with their mother. They are whispering secrets. They are excited that they are going to surprise daddy. Then on Christmas morning they come and say, `Daddy, here is a blessing for you.' It ultimately came from you, but it was a blessing because it came back with their love." When we sing, "We bless Thee, O Lord," we are praising Him with the blessings He puts in our lives.

Special note from Dutch and Gaby

Last year I said in one of my endings: How wonderful it is to know Him who holds the future.: Things have not changed. We still trust Him who holds our future. This year, our future might look different from what we had anticipated. Our daughter Niqua is moving with her family to Kansas City and they are leaving a day or two after Christmas. You can only guess how much we will miss them. Stefan and Niqua have decided that they would like to lead a quieter life style for themselves and for their daughter and a job search took them to KC. We know that God is in this and is guiding and directing their steps.

Dutch has been having some health issues and I know that my time will be spent with him. The elders at our church have prayed and everyone continues to pray for a healing for Dutch and we know that God's perfect Will will be done.

We so love our store and what God has built for the last 18 years but we wonder if the time has come to pass the baton to someone else who might bring their love and passion to this wonderful business. If you ever dreamt of owning a business and have a passion for people and all things yarn, are willing to work many hours a week and enjoy every minute of it and have the funds to back up your dream, contact us!

Luke 1 :37For nothing is impossible with God."
