April 21, 2007 9AM - 12 noon $40      
Linear/Bulgy/Undulating Freeform: This freeform style using undulating sections in a long linear fashion is achieved using short rows.
Materials: Size 6 or 7 circular needles, minimum of 9 skeins of smooth yarn in similar weights
Homework: Review short row technique. With an outline yarn, c/o 25 sts. Knit back. Cut yarn.

Patchy Freeform: This freeform style small sections is composed of a variety of stitch patterns, i-cord coils, crochet, fabric or felted pieces, and previously knit swatches can be combined with other styles for a more complex look.
Materials: Size 6 or 7 straight needles, numerous skeins of yarn in various fibers and textures.
Homework: Knit a 12" length i-cord.
           
May 19, 2006 9AM - 12 noon $40      
Frills and Funky Stuff: Make leaves, flowers, crochet coils, -cord coils, ruffles, fringe ideas and embellishments on top of freeform knitting.
Materials: Size 6 or 7 straight needles, Crochet Hook H, numerous skeins of yarn in reds, oranges, and yellows and 2 or 3 shades of green
Homework: Knit a 12" length of i-cord. Know how to do basic crochet.

Organic Freeform: This freeform style using organic or irregular shapes which are knit separately in different stitch patterns and textures can be outlines for a dramatic look, or knit in plain, smooth yarns with no outline for a very different look.
Materials: Size 6 or 7 straight needles, Crochet Hood H, minimum of 7 or 8 skeins of compatible yarns (not too hairy), 1 skein of black or outline yarn
