KNITTING & CROCHETING (all levels) Taught by Jan Cornelius 
         
 Jan is a wealth of information! Not only can she knit and crochet, but she also can dye yarn and loves to work with beads.  Although she is extremely knowledgeable, Jan's favorite students are beginners. If you are a beginner who is interested in a small class and lots of fun, Jan is definitely the teacher for you. See Jan's write-up about herself at the bottom of this page!
 
 

Monday: no classes
Tuesday 1 PM- 3 PM OR 6PM - 8 PM 
Wednesday: no classes
Thursday: no classes
Friday: 10 AM -12 PM OR 6 PM - 8 PM
Saturday: 10 AM - Noon OR 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM


Cost: $50 for five 2-hour sessions. You will receive a special 5-week punch card which you can collect and apply
towards a 2% discount for each card on your purchase at the Yarn Lady store. (Cards can only be used once for
the discount)

A note from Jan:

The Yarn Lady has asked me to "toot my own horn" and tell you a little about myself…so here it goes:
I recently joined the teaching the staff at the Yarn Lady after 35 years of instructing knitting and crochet
in the Chicago area. My husband, our three dogs, a kitty and I moved to Laguna Hills where we are
enjoying our new home.

I am thrilled to be here and I love teaching fiber arts. Beginners to advanced-both knitters and crocheters
- will receive plentiful help in class and an unbelievable amount of knowledge in a private lesson. I will
work with you on any project.

I would like to share a little of my teaching philosophy. If you are a little scared, I will make you feel at
ease. If your project is all mixed up, I will do my best to untangle you. Working with yarn is not just a
hobby, but a special place to go whenever you need a quiet moment. My ultimate goal is that you will
finally be able to say, "I can do that myself!"
